Our Fish had BABIES!

Our little fatty mumma molly finally had her babies last night at 1 am, we added a extra heater yesterday to the tank as she was pregnant for over 6 weeks and wasn't giving them up, the warmer water did the trick and she had about 25 babies!

Caught almost every one and put them in the baby floating tank, there were too many though so made a new holding tank out of a cordial bottle with holes drilled in.

Another batch of fish Babies (angel fish)

Within 12 hours of placing another heater in my tropical fresh water tank, we had two batches of babies.

1st batch was at about 1am from a pair of Mollies (couldn't sleep, and ended up spending the night catching live babies and putting them in a protective container).Click here

2nd batch was at lunch time the same day, the Angel fish were acting rather strange, it was because a pair of them were laying eggs on the fish pump. About 100 eggs! Getting rather protective over them

wow

Will now have to work out a way to keep the baby mollies, baby angel fish, and the parents away from eachother... thinking a big bit of mesh from spotlight and a coathanger.

Posting photos and video of angel fish having babies shortly...

New Laptop - XSP M1730

Wow! wow wow. What a beast of a laptop.

Ordered from Dell 7 days ago, it arrived today. Very fast!

I think I need a bigger desk:

New Laptop - Dell XPS M1730

Here's a quick rundown of the specs:

  • Core2 Duo T9300 2.5GHz
  • 4GB Ram
  • Dual 300GB SATA drives.
  • Dual NVIDIA GeForce cards. 256mb each - SLI
  • Crazy cool 1920x1200 resolution on a very impressive 17" widescreen
  • Blueray reader - HDMI output to play movies on high def tv's
  • Dual layer DVD burner
  • Inbuilt bluetooth
  • Integrated webcam above the screen.
  • Full keyboard with number pad
  • Keyboard lights up!
  • LCD panel above keyboard, displays performance, date/time, stopwatch, etc.. Should be fun to play with.. "you have 3 new emails"
  • Gigabit ethernet
  • New N wifi card
  • Card reader, firewire, lots of USB ports
  • Dual headphone output? cool for movies while travelling...
  • The power brick is about 15 times larger than my compaq presario one.
  • Laptop weighs a lot, its definetly a desktop replacement.

This thing has more guts than all my computers put together!

Recommend to anyone wanting to buy a high end desktop replacement!!
